Okay! I am back! Whew! I am so tired of being tired, so I am back on track. I went and got a new sit for my bike, and new wheel for the back. I have completely moved into my new home and settled in to it for the holidays. My sister has now lost 15 more pounds and is looking really good. She has lots of energy and stamina. She dropped off a good magazine for me called “Get Off The Couch” haha! I needed that one. Plus all my real friends who love me make subtle hints that I need to change so I can be around longer. I agree!
- First step is acknowledging the need for change
- Second step is not be drastic and hard myself.
- third step is do something every day towards my plan.
- 4th step is make mental notes when I feel better.
That’s it for now.
Today, I will go sit outside and breathe in the fresh air, pray about my health and wellness, and take a short walk.
No pain! No gain!
love you for being there with me.

I’m with you, Monica! I’m so tired of being tired, I can’t even express it. I’m glad you’re settling in, and look forward to walking along side you. Best wishes!
Dearest Monica ~ I am soooo proud of you. Your S I S T A S I Z I N G blog is so impressive & informative, thank you. As you know, I too am 80lbs overweight and need to make a commitment to change my lifestyle and eating habits. Your hard work and change in diet is very inspiring. I have medical issues and live with chronic pain. Starting to exercise and eating the correct foods can help my fibromyalgia. I start Physical Therapy in July to start learning a program that will work for me. Thank you again for sharing your story, outside of your cancer mine is fairly the same. I too was my mother’s caretaker for three years and cancer took her from us 3+ years ago. I also was a single disabled mother raising a wild teenager at the same time (she’s a wonderful young woman now). What I am trying to say is, now it is time to take care of myself!!!
